Like when Doug, Anna’s neighbor called the 911 Operatorbecause he heard Anna’s dog barking excitedly. The 911 Operator had to ask the right questions stay calm and send out the right people for the job. I feel the 911 Operator job is very important because if the 911 Operator is not calm or doesn’t send out the right people in a life or death situation the victim can die. So in situations like these the 911 Operator is very important. This is not a job i would want to pursue because i would melt under the pressure and will not be able to remain calm and i may also not be quick enough. So i don’t want to put the person's life in danger. [Sources* Job of Duties of 911 Dispatcher (n.d.)] [Sources* 911 Emergency Dispatcher: Required Skills, Duties and Responsibilities(n.d.).
